March / April 2010: Vincent Lopiccolo is well known for his oil paintings of still lifes, portraits, and landscapes, which have won numberous awards.  He paints in a classical style whereby functional use of light draws the observer into the painting toward the central image.  His artistic objective is to portray more than what appears to the viewer's eye in order to evoke a deeper response.
