Conant Award honors South Shore quilt artist. The Helen Bumpus gallery Board of Directors has honored South Shore quilt artist Virginia Hollowy wiht the 2023 Conant Award in special recognition of her exemplary artwork exhibited in the Gallery last winter. The award, which includes a personalized plaque and $500 honorarium, was established by a donation from Esther Conant in honor of her friend and gallery namesake, Helen Bumpus.
