Margaret Farrell Bruno
Margaret Farrell Bruno lives and paints on the Massachusetts South Shore. Being a native of the area, she grew up surrounded by the splendid coastline and luscious cranberry bogs, which have inspired her landscapes. Margaret’s vibrant style is influenced by her sensitivity to the use of color, light, and composition.
Melding the ideals of realism and impressionism, her bold artwork responds to the energy and emotion of her subject matter. Margaret is a nationally award winning artist who was formally educated at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and launched a three-pronged career as a fine artist, portraitist, and illustrator. Margaret’s landscapes are included in the permanent collection of the Ocean Spray Corporation, Perini Private Collection, New England Met Life, Massachusetts General Hospital, along with other public and private collections. Artist's Statement: “I am continually humbled and honored with the beauty of color and light whether it be on the soft face of a precious child or on a majestic landscape before me. I hope to always consider it a privilege, a blessing and a challenge to be inspired by that beauty.” Margaret is represented by The Kendall Art Gallery, 40 Main St., Wellfleet, Ma. and Expressions-Artisans and Fine Art Gallery, 132 Front St., Scituate, Ma. She is the past President of the North River Arts Society.
