Duxbury Free Library Director Denise Garvin's love for the arts was inspired by the rich history and culture of Pennsylvania, where she was born and raised. After studying Art History as an undergraduate, she earned a Master's degree in Library Science.
Denise believes that art and culture are the cornerstones of society, and is dedicated to the mission of preserving, promoting, and making these treasures accessible to all. She is honored to serve on the Bumpus Gallery Board of Directors, where her love for art and libraries converge.
