He has worked for the Marblehead Fire Department for the past 26 years and is currently a Captain in the Fire Prevention Division.
He is passionate about photography. He has received multiple awards for his work. Most recently he won the “Best of Show” award in the 2012 Marblehead Arts Festival for his “Serenity” photograph and in the 2011 Marblehead Arts Festival he won an “Outstanding Work” award for his “Reflective Barges” photo. He is a member of the Marblehead Arts Association where he has received multiple awards and he is also a member of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association where he has won multiple ribbons in print competitions.
An exhibit at Marblehead’s Abbot Public Library in January 2011 was very well received. Currently his work is featured at Jack-Tar Restaurant in Marblehead.
I believe that every day holds the promise of a special moment. In this fast paced world we live in, I am inspired by the challenge to find that moment and share it with others.
I try to incorporate my love of the outdoors and the seasonal changes in all of my work. Nature provides us with many visual opportunities each day, if we only learn to take notice.
I enjoy taking the time to find the beauty that surrounds us and offer it to you.
With each day comes a new beginning. I treat each day like it is a new palet
