Dear Friend,

The Helen Bumpus Gallery has had an exciting year of shows in 2016, beginning with two popular shows featuring pastels.  Cultural diversity was celebrated in a unique show by photographer Mark Chester featuring a collection of portraits of naturalized citizens in the Bay State.

Local photographer Edmund J. Corvelli appealed to all ages with his vivid photographs of the wildlife of Kenya.  A children’s art show entitled “Go Fish!” featured local young artists, which we plan to continue each year.  The year finishes with a brilliantly colored pastel show.  We hope you have been able to view our shows in the Duxbury Free Library for it is due to the support of people like you that we can bring art to the community.   The Gallery continues to encourage young artists through our scholarship program, and to recognize our exhibitors through our annual Esther Conant Award.  Please visit our website www.helenbumpusgallery.com for more information on our artists and shows, and “like” us on Facebook!
